Door Leaf:
Core: Internally stiffened, insulated and sound deadened with pre-expanded, small cell honeycomb core material and laminated under pressure to the face skins.
Skin: 2 skins of 1.2mm (18 ga) thick galvanised steel, 44mm thick door with no face seams. Face skins are connected by a “deep pocket” interlocking edge lock seam for added strength and durability.
Finish as delivered: Primer painted or Polyester Powder coat.
Colour: Consult with GSL Doors for availability of colours and to obtain samples.
Frame and architraves:
1.5mm (16 ga) thick zinc coated steel forming a double/single rebate profile. Fully protected header allows for a smooth butt-joint with the vertical frame posts.
Finish as delivered: Primer painted or Polyester Powder coat.
Colour: Consult with GSL Doors for availability of colours and to obtain samples.
Ironmongery:
Hinges - 1.5 pairs per leaf of 102 x 76mm template drilled Stainless steel hinges
On double doors, 2 fire rated lever action flushbolts are situated within the leading edge of the inactive door leaf.
All fire rated doorsets have a closer to each leaf.
Door to be prepared to accommodate client specified hardware provided this does not compromise fire performance and maintenance of the doors.
Fixing:
Frames are provided with three fixings per jamb with built in adjustment and completed by matching colour co-ordinated cover caps.
Fire rated louvers
FBLS fire block system. Incorporates louver and Intumescent block.
In the event of a fire the Intumescent block expands by 80 times its’ own volume to fill the door void.
